Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce 5 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals for team and floor competitions and bronze medal in the balance beam. It made her one of the very first American gymnast at the Olympics with the highest number of medals. In 2016, the Olympics included her winning the gold medal in the team event, earning her as well as Gabby the honor of being the first Americans to ever win consecutive gold medals for a team. Silver medals were also awarded in both the all-around individual and floor exercise. After the second Olympics, she stopped for three years gymnastics. She was also a part of the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. As a young girl She began learning gymnastics. Her favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly contributes her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. She plans to pursue an occupation as a designer. Her future goals include expanding her trademark line of leotards. She's writing a book titled Fierce which will come out in the coming months.
